Join Melanie McNiven for a beginners workshop in Noosa. Learn all there is to know about taking your camera off auto. Topics include finding exposure using manual settings, finding sharp focus, working with subjects, composition and framing.

Melanie has a Bachelor of Education and Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts in Photography but most importantly, she has been a professional photographer in Noosa for over 8 years. Now she is ready to help you take your photography to the next level. 4 x 3 hour lessons will complete the workshop.

The workshop will be held on four consecutive Saturdays, beginning on May 25, June 1, June 8 and finishing on June 15. Lessons will run from 9am until 12 noon.

Extras to know about…

  • Joining a face to face class with Mel doesn’t stop once you leave the classroom. Participants will be invited to share work or ask questions via a closed Facebook group.

  • At the end of the four week workshop, Mel will print your favourite photograph professionally.

  • During the classes, there will be some excursions to practice what we learn, out and about in the environment.
